Endangered

Endangered has many meanings. In this case I am speaking of an endangered species, the Snowy Plover. I am not speaking of the endangered lens I carried out through wind blown sand in search of the little creatures.

Yesterday was one of those days when everything is beautiful but there is little chance for photography. The sun was shinning but there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. So, sunsets were not a likely option. The tide was in and the marsh flooded so little in the way of birds. Still, it was nice, I had a couple hours, not going out wasn’t an option.

The payoff was great. I found 4 or 5 different Snowy Plover on my outing. While not particularly cooperative they provided some opportunity and I am pleased with what I got.
