This fall seems to be bringing in larger then usual numbers of Yellow Legs. Most often we observe Greater Yellow Legs in this area. This migration seems to be bringing with it good numbers of Lesser Yellow Legs as well. Over the last weekend there was a flock of a dozen or so mixed Lesser and Greater at the creek by the water treatment plant. Last week I observed a larger flock on the Bandon Marsh NWR. I have even seen a couple at the Redmond Pond area. It looks like fall migration will continue to provide some interest for a while to come.

We have discussed writing an e-book or two. It may take a while but they will be coming.
